Understanding payment options for counseling
Session Fees
If using insurance your copay after insurance reimbursement will be dependent on your plan and if you have met your deductible.

Out-of-Network and Self-Pay Options
If you have an insurance carrier that I am not in-network with you may be eligible for out-of-network coverage through your insurance.
If you are choosing to use out-of-network benefits or go the self-pay option payment will be due at the time of your session. I will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
How to Verify Your Benefits
Navigating insurance can be a daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be overly complex. Below you’ll find a list of questions that will make it easy to understand what your benefits are and how much you can expect to pay if you plan to use insurance.
- If your deductible has not been met, what are the out of pocket costs to you before your coverage will begin?
Payment Information
I accept all major credit and debit cards, including HSA/FSA cards. Fees (copays, coinsurance or out of pocket) amounts are due at the time of service.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
I prioritize my clients by holding space for each person I see. When clients cancel an appointment I try to offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. When clients cancel within 48 hours or miss an appointment without notice, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen.
If you would like to cancel an appointment I ask that you do so with at least 48 hours notice. Anyone cancelling an appointment with less than a 48 hour notice will be charged the full session fee, $150. Insurance does not cover missed appointments and late cancellations rendering it the client’s responsibility to pay.
If you are sick or in quarantine you will be excused from this policy and will not be required to pay the fee.
